After carrying out a range of internal re-stacks and partition alterations to incorporate a rapidly increasing head-count, Curtis Brown realised they could no longer continue within their existing premises. However, once a larger floor in their building became available Cannon Davis were commissioned to provide a relocation plan to incorporate growth for the next three years within the various media agent departments.
Curtis Brown is a high profile agency representing celebrities and writers situated in central London and were moving to the 3rd floor of an occupied building.
Each agent had individual requirements both in style and media storage, and had to be ideally located to communicate with support staff and other agents, so we had a complex set of objectives to meet. In addition to the expansion, the new floor had a number of structural restrictions and Curtis Brown needed a dedicated area to entertain the large number of high profile visitors plus a separate break out area for the staff.
Our experience highlighted that the agreed solution needed to be very flexible to accommodate regular churn, yet be able to meet the specific needs of the individual agents. In order to contain long term costs, we utilised an attractive shop-fitting system for individual storage plus re-locatable glazed elevations with random effect frosted manifestation for privacy. This solution results in design details that retain their relevancy and remain on trend, whilst being easy to replace and update when required.
The latest churn alteration required an eleven phase series of internal alterations to accommodate a new business and reposition a number of departments, all while the business was fully operational. Our teams of reliable skilled contractors maintained the tight programme in demanding circumstances to get the new business in location when required.
